For Students:
All of your work, entries, questions, and information which is part of eTutoring are considered part of your educational experience at your institution. It is therefore protected by the same federal (FERPA) and institutional rules that protect your privacy. No information in eTutoring.org can or will be released to anyone without your permission.
Federal educational privacy laws gives the institution the right to conduct education research using eTutoring.org as long as all data is reported only in the aggregate and not attributed to any student. For example, your institution could count how many of its students use eTutoring or how many students have submitted writing assigments to the Writing Lab. They cannot publish or use any specific information which identifies you in this research.
The institution and CTDLC reserve the right to review content within the eTutoring and remove any which violates institutional policies or state, federal, or copyright laws.
For Faculty and Staff:
Although FERPA rules do not specifically apply to faculty and staff, we use the same standards (as outlined above) for all users of the eTutoring.
License and Site Access
The eTutoring grants you a limited license to access and make personal use of this site and not to download (other than page caching) or modify it, or any portion of it, except with express written consent of the eTutoring. This license does not include any resale or commercial use of this site or its contents; any collection and use of any product listings, descriptions, or prices; any derivative use of this site or its contents; any downloading or copying of account information for the benefit of another merchant; or any use of data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools. This site or any portion of this site may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, visited, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without express written consent of the eTutoring. Your Account
