LCC is partnering with the Western eTutoring Consortium to provide online tutoring assistance to students. All currently enrolled LCC students will have access to eTutoring’s free online peer tutoring services in the following areas:
American Sign Language
Anatomy & Physiology
Computer Science (Java & C++ only)
Intro to Psychology
Math (Developmental through Trigonometry)
Web Development (xHTML, CSS, and Adobe Dreamweaver)
Writing (Synchronous and Asynchronour)-- Now accepting graduate student submissions!
How do I log in to online tutoring?
Use your LCC Student ID # as your username, ex: 900123699 (no dashes or spaces).
Your password is your birthdate in this format: yymmdd, ex:730218 (no dashes or spaces).
Once logged in you will be asked to verify your account. You may change your password at this time.
The first time you log in make sure to read and accept the eTutoring Terms and Conditions by checking the 'I agree to all terms and conditions' box at the bottom of the page. Once this is completed, you are ready to begin by clicking on one of the eTutoring Services on the welcome page.
The eWriting Lab allows you to submit a draft of your paper to a tutor, ask for specific feedback, and receive a tutor's response within 24-48 hours.
Live Tutoring via eChat allows you to meet with a tutor in one-on-one tutoring sessions via a fully interactive, virtual online environmnet. Live sessions are offered in every subject but writing.
The offline eQuestions allow you to leave a spectific question for an eTutor, who will respond within 48 hours (but usually sooner). eQuestions may be submitted for any of the subject areas covered.

Student Evaluation of Services Survey
Following the completion of each session on eTutoring, you will recieve an email from eTutoring.org asking you to click on a link and fill out a two-question survy on your eTutoring experience. Please take a few minutes to give us feedback we need to improve our site and our services.
