As a partner in the Western eTutoring Consortium, Shoreline Community College can offer free online tutoring support to all SCC students. Students may access eTutoring these dates through fall quarter: September 27 - December 14.
See below for the types of tutoring offered and the subjects for which tutoring is available.
New Login Instructions for Fall 2017:
To LOGIN, follow these directions for your USERNAME and PASSWORD:
*USERNAME: Enter your Shoreline email address (Example: Jane.Doe@go.shoreline.edu)
*PASSWORD: Enter your 9 digit SID (Example: 123456789)
Do not contact eTutoring support or anyone besides Grace Rhodes if you have problems logging in. Only Grace can verify that you are a Shoreline student and provide you with a username or password.
The following types of tutoring are available:
Our Online Writing Lab where you can submit a draft of your paper to a tutor, ask for specific feedback, and receive your work back with a tutor’s response within 24-48 hours. Note: Our eTutors will not edit, correct, or rewrite your paper, but will help you improve your work and writing skills.
Live Tutoring where you can meet with a tutor in one-on-one tutoring sessions via a fully interactive, virtual online environment.
Offline Questions where you can leave a specific question for an eTutor who will respond within 48 hours.

Intro to Psychology
Math (Developmental through Trig.)
Web Development (xHTML, CSS, and Adobe Dreamweaver)
Writing for any course (Synchronous & Asynchronous)
