UMass Dartmouth eTutoring is currently unavailable

UMass Dartmouth students registered for courses, or matriculated into a degree program, have access to FREE tutoring through the Math & Business Center, the Writing and Reading Center and the Language Lab.

All three tutoring centers are open this summer—contact each directly to inquire about summer hours. Staffed by peer tutors our services are used by both undergraduate and graduate students. It doesn't matter if you have only one question or if you need long-term assistance in one or more areas; tutoring exists to help students be successful at UMass Dartmouth.

Summer 2018 online writing tutoring begins at the start of the summer session.

The Writing and Reading Center offers students the unique opportunity to receive one-on-one tutoring with a trained and highly skilled peer tutor, covering a variety of subjects and skills across the disciplines. Topics frequently covered include:

  • Literary analyses

  • Thesis writing
  • Reading and study strategies
