Welcome to the Ohio eTutoring Collaborative!
Marion Technical College (MTC) is a proud partner in the Ohio eTutoring Collaborative, the nation's largest eTutoring Collaborative. As such, MTC is able to provide supplemental, online tutoring support for students who have enrolled in several of our courses.
To Log In:
Enter your MTC username (last name, first initial of first name, last four digits of your PowerCampus number)
and this password: mtcfall2015
in the spaces provided on the left side of the screen. Then select "Student" and click on the "Sign in" button. Change your password on the next screen; we recommend using your normal MTC password to keep things simple. Complete all other information that is requested.
The Online Writing Lab allows you to submit a draft of your paper to a tutor, ask for specific feedback, and receive a tutor's response within 24-48 hours.
Live Tutoringvia eChat allows you to meet with a tutor in one-on-one tutoring sessions via a fully interactive, virtual online environment. Live sessions are offered for several subjects.
If you choose eChat, tutor names will show which tutors are online. Click on the name/subject you wish to “chat” with. Note that your browser must be set to allow pop-ups in order for eChat to work.
If a tutor isn’t available for eChat, you can leave the tutors an eQuestion.
Theoffline eQuestions allow you to leave a specific question for an eTutor, who will respond within 48 hours (but usually sooner). eQuestions may be submitted for any of the subject areas covered.
The Weekly Tutor Schedules are available in the lower left hand side of the welcome page.
