South Puget Sound Community College partners with the Western eTutoring Consortium to provide online tutoring assistance to students. All currently enrolled SPSCC students have access to free, professional online tutoring in mutliple subjects, including writing, math, accounting, statistics, economics, engineering (circuits and digital systems), physics, chemistry, biology, anatomy and physiology, Spanish, American Sign Language, Microsoft Office, and web development (xHTML, CSS, and Dreamweaver).
The eWriting Lab allows you to submit a draft of your paper to a tutor, ask for specific feedback, and receive a tutor's response within 24-48 hours. For specific questions in any subject area, you can submit to eQuestions and receive a tutor's response within 48 hours (usually sooner).
First-time Login Instructions
Username: your SPSCC SID
Password: ETUTOR (the password is case sensitive)
Click "Sign In"
On your first login, you will be asked to update your account profile, change your password. and read and accept the eTutoring Terms and Conditions.
Once these steps are completed, you can log in for subsequent visits using your SID and your chosen password.
Problems Logging In?
Only students who are currently enrolled at SPSCC may access eTutoring. If you have set up an account but cannot remember your password, click the “Forgot your password?” link (found just below the “Sign In” button) and follow the instructions. For all other login problems, including a deactivated account, please contact Chris Dorn, Learning Support Services Administrator and eTutoring Coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
For technical issues with the site, please contact tech support at http://esupport.ctdlc.org. To submit a service request, you'll first need to click on "Create an Account." Tech support can help you make sure your computer is ready for eTutoring. However, they cannot help you with login and password issues.
