Welcome to the Northeast eTutoring Consortium!

 
Cambridge College is a  partner in the Northeast eTutoring Consortium, enabling us to provide online tutoring support for all of our students.  Students have ongoing access to online professional tutoring services in the following areas:

  • Writing
  • Math from the developmental level through Calculus II
  • Accounting
  • Biology including  Anatomy & Physiology
  • Chemistry 
  • Information Literacy and Research Methods
  • Statistics

Summer eTutoring at Cambridge College runs throughout August 2017 .

Logging into eTutoring

From MYCC: On the home page after login, click on eTutoring (upper left) to launch the website. eTutoring will have you verify your personal information this first time and set a password. If you visit eTutoring via the MyCC site, you will not have to enter a password again.

From outside MYCC: Go to etutoring.org. Use your Student ID and the password you set above to access eTutoring.org.

 

eTutoring Services

The Online Writing Lab allows you to submit a draft of your paper to a tutor, ask for specific feedback, and receive a tutor's response within 24-48 hours. This may be longer during peak periods in the semester.

Live Tutoringvia eChat allows you to meet with a tutor in one-on-one tutoring sessions via a fully interactive, virtual online environment. Live sessions are offered for Accounting, Math, Calculus, Statistics, Information Literacy and Research Methods, Biology--including Anatomy & Physiology, and Chemistry.

Offline eQuestions allow you to leave a specific question for an eTutor, who will respond within 48 hours.  eQuestions may be submitted for any of the subject areas covered.

 

Student Evaluation of Services

Approximately 48 hours after you use an eTutoring tool you will be sent a very brief survey link via email. We ask that you complete this brief survey so we can better serve your needs.

 

Please Note: If you choose eChat, colored tutor icons will show which tutors are online. Click on the icon you wish to “chat” with. Your browser must be set to allow pop-ups in order for eChat to work. If a tutor isn’t available for eChat, you can leave the tutors an eQuestion.

The Weekly Tutor Schedules are available in the lower right hand side of the welcome page.
